God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Dieu appelle la lumière « jour », et l’obscurité, il l’appelle « nuit ». Il y a un soir, il y a un matin. Voilà le premier jour.

Il appela la lumière : « jour » et les ténèbres : « nuit ».
Il y eut un soir, il y eut un matin. Ce fut le premier jour.
