Devant le SEIGNEUR, le serviteur a grandi comme une petite plante, comme une racine qui sort d’une terre sèche. Il n’avait ni la beauté ni le prestige qui attirent les regards. Son apparence n’avait rien pour nous plaire.

He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
