God prepared the world for Jesus the Messiah right from the very beginning.  He made sure His world knew ahead of time that the Messiah was coming.  This is the first of three devotionals that give the prophetic pronouncements of the Messiah – and how they were fulfilled.  This devotional shows the prophecies of the lineage of Jesus starting from the garden of Eden right to Mary.

Freedom in Christ is not something to take lightly. At every turn, our freedom is being attacked. Galatians was written as a strong rebuke of false teaching that infiltrated the churches in Galatia. Paul’s central argument reaffirms the foundation of the gospel: “a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ” (Galatians 2:16). Galatians reminds us to walk in the freedom of the true, untainted gospel and warns us against submitting again to the slavery of works-based salvation.

On Christmas, Christians rejoice in the birth of Jesus, their Savior. Christmas is a time of celebration where we are blessed to see the fulfillment of God’s promise, giving us his only Son as our Savior. God designed us to see him, know his character, and let the truth of his goodness lead to deeper relationship with him.
