ShofarBand is a South African worship and songwriting collective. In January 2024, we released our live album, Welcome Home. This plan is based on those songs, telling the story of a God who is both transcendent and intimate, both high above and near to us. May this plan and these songs enlarge our view of the love and holiness of God, creating space for encounters with His Holy Spirit.

This plan is an invitation to walk with the disciples during the Passion Week—the days leading up to Jesus’ death—and experience some of His most dramatic teachings. Each day’s readings are arranged in parallel passages of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and are filtered chronologically.

This reading plan explores the first Gospel. This Gospel explains that Jesus was the king of Jews that brought the kingdom of heaven, even though Jesus didn't arrive in the way people expected.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a book about what will happen in the future; but perhaps more importantly, it’s a book about who controls the future.
