Welcome to Holy Week. For centuries, the Church has used this week to dedicate the fullness of its attention to Christ’s passion, resurrection, and the events leading up to it. Over the next 8 days, we will explore the gospel accounts of Holy Week and how it still impacts our everyday lives, even nearly two thousand years later.

Holy Week marks the most pivotal moment in history, tracing Christ’s journey from a humble entrance to His absolute victory over death. This eight-day path—from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection—invites believers to move beyond mere remembrance and actively enter the drama of redemption. By reflecting on the sacrifice of the Cross and the miracle of the empty tomb, individuals experience a mirror of their own spiritual growth. It is a call to surrender and renewal, transforming fragile hope into unshakable faith.

I have always wondered what Jesus meant by many are called, and a few are Chosen until I began to learn through the story of Gideon. In this 9 days Devotional Plan (based on the book, “And they shall be called the Sons of God”), we will learn the difference between being called and being Chosen. We will also learn how to transition from called to Chosen.

Obtain is a verb - It implies action. So we are going to put some action into obtaining God’s truth and storing it in our hearts. How? Through reading God’s Word in daily nourishment portions. This study is a perfect way to begin to grow in your understanding of what you now have in Christ Jesus and renew your mind to become more like Him!
