No one can claim to be an expert dad, but we believe the Bible speaks about and equips us for the role of effective fathering. We have also been given the gift of the Christian community (the Church) to build each other up.

Merriam-Webster defines a "Founding Father" as "a leading figure in the founding of the U.S." Given their diversity across thirteen colonies, it's inaccurate to broadly claim "the Founding Fathers believed" anything — especially about religion. Yet some were so clear in their conviction that Jesus is Lord that we can objectively identify them as genuine followers of Christ. Over the next five days, we'll explore the beliefs of five such individuals — and the principles we can draw from them to help us follow Christ better today.

We live in a radically skeptical age. Tough questions are being asked about Christianity. And most believers are ill-equipped to provide the answers our culture and communities desperately need. Many in today’s church do not know the Bible as well as they should and they struggle with their own “big questions” about the faith. This study helps identify questions people are asking and how a Christian might answer them.
