LIVING WITH CHRIST'S AUTHORITY

“I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” – Luke 10:19

Some Christians walk like spiritual beggars when, in truth, they’ve been given divine VIP access. When Jesus saved you, He didn’t just forgive you; He empowered you! You’ve got the badge, the backing, and the name of Jesus. It’s time to start walking like it.

Developing consciousness of your identity also means recognising the spiritual authority you carry. You’re not helpless. You’re not at the mercy of the enemy or life’s randomness. You have authority to speak, bind, declare, cast down, and build up, in Jesus’ name. Don’t whisper prayers when you’ve been called to roar.

Now, this doesn’t mean walking in pride. It means walking in position. Authority isn’t about volume; it’s about awareness. A traffic officer doesn’t stop cars because he’s strong; he stops them because of the badge he wears. You’ve got Heaven’s badge.

Practice using your authority today. Speak peace over chaos. Rebuke fear. Declare God’s promises out loud. Pray like someone seated with Christ in heavenly places, not like someone peeking through the window of heaven hoping to be heard.
