LEAD YOURSELF WELL

Anchor Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:27
“I discipline my body and keep it under control…”

Leadership begins internally. Before influence extends outward, it must be established within. Scripture places high value on self-mastery because uncontrolled impulses weaken credibility and effectiveness.

Paul emphasized this truth by listing self-control as fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). This shows that leadership of self is not merely willpower; it is spiritual maturity expressed through discipline.

Jesus demonstrated self-leadership consistently—He withdrew to pray, resisted temptation, and stayed aligned with purpose (Matthew 4:1–11; Luke 5:16). His authority flowed from inner order.

When you lead yourself well, emotions stabilize, decisions sharpen, and integrity strengthens. Self-leadership creates the foundation for trust and responsibility.
