“Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done.”

But I prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have returned to me, strengthen your brothers.”

He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, he took the cup after the supper, saying, “This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is being poured out for you.

As he was in agony, he prayed more fervently. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling to the ground.

But it is not to be that way with you. Instead, let the greatest among you become like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.

But Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you deny three times that you know me.”
