 Traducerea interconfesională a Noului Testament  Traducerea interconfesională a Noului Testament a fost recunoscută ca o necesitate de către Bisericile membre ale Societății Biblice Interconfesionale din România (SBIR), deoarece conformitatea cu textele originale ale Sfintei Scripturi putea înseamna, fără a înlocui Sfânta Scriptură folosită de Biserici, o micșorare a deosebirilor apărute de-a lungul istroriei bisericești. Această inițiativă constituie unul dintre cele mai importante proiecte ale SBIR. Echipa de traducători a fost formată din șase teologi și lingviști de tradiții diferite, echipa de traducători a inlcus doi traducători romano-catolici, doi traducători ortodocși și doi traducători de tradiție evanghelică, toți lucrând sub supervizarea unui specialist în traduceri de la UBS. Traducerea a durat 4 ani și s-a finalizat în 2009. Publicată în această formă în 2010. Traducerea poate fi considerată un monument al colaborării dintre Biserici, deschizător de drum pentru un dialog ziditor. © Societatea Biblică Interconfesională din România (SBIR) 2010  Romanian Interconfessional New Testament translation  The Interconfessional New Testament translation was regarded as a necessity by the member Churches of the Interconfessional Bible Society in Romania (IBSR). It was translated from the original texts to produce a Holy Bible, which without replacing the Holy Scripture used by different Churches, minimised the differences produced by church history. This initiative is the most important project of Interconfessional Bible Society of Romania (IBSR). The translation team was formed by six theologians and linguists from different traditions. The translation team included two Roman-Catholic translators, two Orthodox translators and two Protestant translators. All of them worked under the supervision of a translation consultant from the United Bible Societies (UBS). The translation lasted 4 years and was completed in 2009, and the New Testament was published in 2010. This translation can be considered a monumental achievement for collaboration between the Churches, opening the way for a real dialogue. © Interconfessional Bible Society in Romania 2010
