1 Peter is all about Jesus! This 6-day plan will walk you through the book of 1 Peter by reading just a chapter or two a day. Each day is accompanied by a short devotional and video that explains what’s happening and shows you how each part of the story points to Jesus and his Gospel.

When we first met Peter in the Gospels, he was a brand-new Christ-follower. Now, years later, his life has been changed by grace. He has much to say about doctrine, his own trials, and the work of the Holy Spirit. He encourages believers to persevere and hope in Christ’s resurrection. Jesus’ sacrifice made a way for us to have a relationship with God. His resurrection conquered death so that we may have eternal life with God. His life transformed ours. This is part three of a three-part series in which we pray you will be able to rejoice in the grace and mercy bestowed upon you through Jesus Christ and that your passion for Him will be renewed and strengthened.

In this reading plan, we will learn more about God’s provision and preparation in difficult times with Bible verses from the letter of Peter (N.I.V.) and stories from the life of Corrie ten Boom and her family. One of the keys is to allow God to use what happened in the past for the present and for the future.

Some of us doubt our place in God’s family because we feel weak or struggle with the same sin year after year, but that doesn’t deny the evidence of true faith. Do you regret your sin? Do you believe Jesus died for you too? Then take heart! You have been born again!
