As we remember and celebrate His coming, HOPE International—a global nonprofit accelerating the end of poverty—explores how Jesus’ followers can bring His holy, healing presence into a broken world.

Matthew’s Gospel opens the New Testament by brilliantly introducing the culmination of the entire Old Testament story. After thousands of years and dozens of generations, Jesus had come “to save his people from their sins” (Mathew 1:21). Matthew focuses on Jesus as King of Kings, who had come to reign on the throne of David forever.

Have you ever stood in awe of a natural wonder—a pristine glacier, a golden sunset, or vast ocean—and been amazed by its beauty? These remind us of the incredible God who created everything.
