Choices And Changes: Successful Goal Settingಮಾದರಿ

Respond: Act Differently
For many people, this part of goal setting is difficult and problematic. They know what they want to do and they're perfectly willing to work on it but they have trouble creating a plan to get there. And because you're not getting any results, you quit working at whatever it is and give up on whatever goal you've set. Sound familiar?
A lot of people are good with ideas but are bad with execution. So for successful goal setting, the first thing you have to do is close the gap between the end result you want and where you are now with a plan. The easiest way to set yourself up for goal setting success is to use a formula for setting goals that incorporates a strategy for accomplishing the goal. A strategy gives you a roadmap on how to get there. Now your strategy should be S.M.A.R.T. — specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timebound. Create a well thought out strategy and plan, identify the process you need to go through and review your available resources.
Start developing your strategy now. Again write it down. But also start taking action! Goal + Action = Success. Take action yes and be consistent — doubly yes!
Do not procrastinate! A Chinese proverb once said “The things I want to do I do not do.” — we all can relate with that. The difference between successful and non-successful people is some execute and some do not.
