SELF LEADERSHIP  

The hardest person to lead will always be you. It takes integrity, determination, and humility. It takes us constantly laying down our lives so that Jesus can become greater in us and we can become less. It says in John 15:5 that apart from Him we can do nothing. Self-leadership starts with knowing that we must first put God in His rightful place and follow His direction. 

It has been said that we can only lead people where we have gone. That is why it is so important to constantly be growing in our faith and maturity so that when the time comes, we can impart the wisdom God gave us to someone else. 

Some of the most important moments we will ever have is when we know without a shadow of a doubt that if we made the wrong choice, we wouldn’t get caught, but we decide to do the right thing regardless. In that moment, when we choose to do what is right, that is where extreme growth will happen. Integrity will be what sets us apart and be the thing that people follow because they know we will do what’s right even when it hurts.
