One Body, Different Parts: Devotions From Time Of Graceಮಾದರಿ

Wonderfully made
Have you ever heard of the Strengthsfinder personality test? After a brief exam, it reveals your top strengths out of a list of 34 categories. If you’re up for a good time, take the test, pass out copies to your closest friends and family, and listen as they laugh, “That is so you!”
What I love about the test is that the odds of another person having your top six strengths in order are one in seven billion. That’s right—seven billion! In other words, you are statistically the only human alive who is just like you. Rank your other 28 categories and sprinkle in your personal experiences, and you will realize how uniquely made you are.
It reminds me of David’s words: “I praise you [God] because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). David wasn’t bragging. He was praising. Praising the God who forgave and save and knit David together in his mother’s womb. He is the same God who knit you too.
So who are you? How did God make you wonderful? Whether you choose the Strengthsfinder test or some other way, I would encourage you to discover who you are. Unearth the compelling reasons that God did not decide to clone the person you envy most in this world. Instead, he decided to handcraft you. That is “wonderful” enough to give God a shout of praise!

About this Plan

Different gifts and different personalities come from God. We are one body in Christ, but we are, by divine design, different. God has a plan for each of us.
