Today’s Bible Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6

Whether we want to admit it or not, we are all being led by something. We may be being led by people around us who influence us or the current culture that has sway over us or even our own emotions, which can be unreliable or even misleading. We are all being led by something. This is why the bible teaches us to be thoughtful about what we are being led by and to choose our influencers wisely.

Where are my ideas coming from? What is shaping my worldview? What is influencing my feelings? These are vital questions we should ask ourselves and, frankly, these are questions we should ask God. So today, let’s ask God for clarity, direction, and wisdom. And let’s commit ourselves to the leadership of Jesus Christ.
