BOXED IN - 21 Day Journey To Easter Through The Book Of Lukeಮಾದರಿ

Boxed In by Sickness
If you’ve ever had a prolonged sickness or disability, you know what it feels like to be boxed in. It significantly limits your ability to live, work, and play the way you envision. And it’s not just the physical effects, but it also spills over into our mental and social well-being too. This is a box that many so desperately want out of as our bodies groan for freedom.
In Jesus, we find a God who can empathize with our pain. By becoming human, He knows firsthand the physical constraints, struggles, and suffering we experience in our bodies and minds. But, because He is also God, he has the power to overcome any ailment we encounter. Jesus proved all of this not just through the temporary healings, but ultimately in His own physical resurrection from the dead.
Sickness is yet more evidence of our need for a Savior. It’s our body’s way of telling us things are not as they should be. Jesus has the power to heal, and it is appropriate to ask for it. Some of us may receive a temporary healing now, but we are all promised a permanent healing and full redemption in the resurrection.
Question: Are you or someone you know suffering physically or mentally? Express your requests for healing to God and your faith community.
