Reading the Bible in Historical Sequence Part 10ಮಾದರಿ

Jesus’s disciples row homewards.5 He takes time praying then walks over the sea to them and calms the storm. On shore He heals many and teaches on the eternal ‘bread of life’.
Note: There may seem to be a conflict between the gospels. Matthew said they landed at Gennesaret, Mark reports going towards Bethsaida, while John said Capernaum – all three of which would have been true. Bethsaida means fishing village and it seems there were two towns with this name. Both were on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee: the main one, called Bethsaida-Julias, was just to the east of the mouth of the River Jordan, while the other was to the west of the mouth somewhere in the two-mile (3 km) gap between Capernaum and Gennesaret.
