God's Laws Are Still Relevant Today
Civil government is a paradoxical idea: it sets limits and creates laws so that freedom can flourish. It promotes the well-being of its citizens while protecting them against evil. So, as Paul writes in Romans 13, we submit to governing authorities by doing what is good. When a government uses God as the ultimate barometer for good and evil, the society works beautifully.
