Raising Boys Who Respect Girls By Dave Willisಮಾದರಿ

The opportunity before us is realizing we have the potential, for the first time in human history, of creating a world where girls and women can experience equal respect and equal opportunity from their male counterparts and from the cultural systems at large. . . I’m talking about changing the entire climate of disrespect toward women and girls, which has existed in various forms since the dawn of human civilization.
The tide of change has been building, and now we’re at a defining crossroads. We all have an important role to play to make sure the next generation is the first to experience equality of respect and opportunity, and one of the vital keys in this equation is parents raising boys who respect girls.
This might sound like an overly simplistic approach to an incredibly complex issue, but the approach I’m proposing isn’t nearly as simplistic as it might seem on the surface. It will challenge our deeply held assumptions, common misinterpretations of Scripture, and invisible biases that have lived in our blind spots for a lifetime. If we’re willing to take this journey, it could transform our hearts, our homes, and our spheres of influence. If enough of us will do this together, we have the potential to change the world. Seriously.
