The Most Important Thing

Jesus makes a powerful statement here and in our work-hard, success-first culture, it almost hurts to read. We totally understand Martha’s plight! But Jesus makes it clear that our lives ought to be prioritized. It’s not that we should never work, but that we need to find balance and understand that the most important thing was Mary’s relationship with Christ! The same should be true for our lives and we will model that for our kids.
