Are You Ready To Open Up?

As you’ve spent the last week, learning about accountability and openness, what have been your thoughts? Can you see the benefits? Do you fear any potential downsides?

Today’s reading is a good reminder of the goals we should have for being open and accountable, because they are lofty – but achievable through accountability.

So what do you think? Are you on board? Have you made that first call or sent out that first text message to a person or persons you think can champion you in your goals to live a God-honoring life? Are you ready to open up your life?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I’m ready. I want to live deeply. I want to keep my focus on You, and I know that a great way to do that is through accountability. So help me, Lord God. Put me in the right places, to say the right words, to do the right actions, and to trust You with my entire life. Amen.
