We can be quick to question why difficult things happen to us, but one thing that Jesus promises us in the Bible is that we will have trouble. We’ll all experience hard times. 

There is also another side to it. As this verse puts it, there is a time for everything. That means that even though we’ll have the bad, difficult, and hard to understand moments, we’ll also have the good, joyful, and wonderful moments along with them. And through both, God will walk with us until we can see the bigger picture of it all. 

Today, pray that God would remind you that He is with you through everything you might experience.
