DAY 2 — Jesus Did It All

The last three words that Jesus spoke on the cross echo in eternity! What was finished? Jesus fulfilled all the law, paid all the debt of our sin, took all our pain, became a curse for us, and in return, gives us complete forgiveness, the gift of righteousness, healing, the blessing, and the promises of God! The Greek word "tetelestai" for "it is finished" meant three things when used: sin-debt fully paid, sentence fully served, and battle fully won! He drank the bitter wine of the curse so we could drink the sweet wine of the blessing. That's the grace of God! What's not to love about a Savior like that? Meditate on this great exchange, and supernatural peace and rest will overtake your heart!
