Tony Evans On The COVID-19 Wake-up Callಮಾದರಿ

Seek His Face in the Disruption
A major crisis is upon us. A virus called COVID-19 has swept across the planet and disrupted all our lives. However, if you are only seeing a virus, then you're not seeing all that’s taking place right now, and I want to tell you about a divine disruption.
Everything visible and physical is preceded by that which is invisible and spiritual. 2 Chronicles 15:5-6 reads, “In those times there was no peace to him who went out or to him who came in, for many disturbances afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands. Nation was crushed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every kind of distress.”
Notice how God takes the blame for what had happened. When God becomes your problem, only God can be your solution. What He desires is for all people to stop doing things their own way and start turning their hearts and minds toward Him. 2 Chronicles 7:14 reminds us that when people humble themselves and seek His face, He will hear their cry and heal their land.
So, today, however bad things might be, take a moment and reflect on your own life. As the hymn goes, turn your eyes toward Jesus, and look full in His wonderful face. It’s not that your problems will all instantly go away; they will simply become dim compared to His glory and His grace. In short, you will come through this divine disruption stronger and better for the experience.
