Learn to Grow

In a world dominated by social media, it’s easy to think “making it” in life is getting a certain number followers, traveling to certain places and reaching certain goals.

But while it’s healthy to have goals and dreams, if seeing them fulfilled becomes our cornerstone, we’ll never have a secure foundation to grow from. Jesus led by example when He said, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33, ESV).

The key to growth isn’t to never fail, but to learn, to keep becoming who we were created to be — always moving forward, adapting and changing as we abide in God and put His Kingdom first. So let’s not let the world dictate our markers for success. Let’s learn, grow and take one step at a time into our God-given purpose.
