Competitive racers like cyclists, runners, and Formula One drivers work diligently to minimize unnecessary weight and reduce drag to be the most efficient athletes in their competition. Christians are also in a race, and the book of Hebrews coaches us to identify the weight of sin that slows us down and to shed it as we run toward Jesus. Take a moment to bring your own sin before Jesus in prayer, and thank Him for taking the punishment for that sin so you can be free.
