My Lord Knows the Wayಮಾದರಿ

Life can be challenging. It can reveal some uncomfortable truths about ourselves and the people we love, but we don’t have to accept Satan’s lies as he presents them. There is a way to live a more virtuous, balanced life.
First, some might ask: If I’m living so wrong, why does God allow me to live this way?
Just as God gives us free will to sin, He also frustrates plans, reveals warning signs, and creates barriers to keep us from developing relationships and circumstances he disapproves of (see Psalm 33:10). Barriers are indeed a benefit—not a curse. Essentially, it’s on us to abide.
Circling back to the prodigal son, can you see him sitting down, reevaluating his life? We can probably imagine how he felt reliving a succession of failed attempts to do things his way. Not even his sin could be counted as a success.
Jesus confirms in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”
Thank God for placing guard rails in your life and redirecting your path or a loved one towards righteousness. Tell Him you respect His process and know He answers prayers according to His will, in His way.
