Jesus Listens for Kidsಮಾದರಿ

Dear Jesus,

I want to learn to thank You for everything—including my problems. As soon as I see trouble coming, that’s the time to start talking to You about it. I’ll start by thanking You for listening to my prayers. Thanking You helps me shake off worry and fear. Problems don’t seem nearly as big when I remember how powerful You are! Then I’ll ask You to show me what to do. Help me trust that Your way is the best way to deal with my problem. Show me whether You want me to face it head-on or to set it aside for a while and keep praying about it.

I have to admit that most of the things I worry about aren’t even problems I have to deal with today. They’re things that might happen tomorrow, next week, next month, or even next year. Or they might not ever happen at all! When I worry like that, Jesus, please take those thoughts from my mind and put them in the future, where they belong. Then show me what You want me to do today so I can live close to You and enjoy Your Peace.
