What are the things you first think of when it comes to the Bible? Is it a book of rules? Does it contain helpful stories? Does it give you wisdom and advice?

There are many differing thoughts on the purpose of the Bible. During his time on earth, Jesus spoke about the Bible in a very specific way. Jesus spoke to large crowds of people who knew the Bible very well. Jesus also knew the Bible very well, but one of the things that he spent time addressing is that, while people might have known what the Bible said, Jesus spoke about the main purpose of the Bible – to point to Him!

When we spend time reading the Bible, we can see parts of the Bible that point to Jesus from beginning to end. Over the course of this plan, we hope you will see how the Bible is more than just a collection of stories, but that all the pieces in the Bible point to Jesus.
