PROVIDER AND NEEDY

Lord taught us to request for our needs: Give us this day our daily bread. God is the provider of all our needs – physical, material, financial, emotional, mental, spiritual. Bread is representation of all our needs. Our basic need of food and sustenance should be from HIS resources. We do not live an independent life but life dependent on His grace, love, and resources.

Human beings are always needy people. They need a variety of things every day to sustain. God is gracious to provide our needs. The Lord taught his disciples not to worry about what they would eat or drink or what they would wear. God provides food for the birds and clothes for the flowers even more glorious than the clothing provided by King Solomon. As Heavenly Father, God will provide these basic needs to his children. (Matthew 6:26-30) Instead, my worries and anxieties should be converted as prayers. Then there will be a unexplainable peace ruling our minds and hearts. (Philippians 4:6)

Our relationship with God is dependent on His goodness, mercy, love, and as Lord of all resources. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. (Psalms 24:1)

In the world we are totally dependent on God for all our needs. This dependent relationship is exciting as it is based on faith. It is marvelous experience to receive all our needs and not greed from His gracious hands.
