Okay, honesty check. When did you last thank God for transforming your life and making you more like Jesus?
This isn't a trick question. It's easy to forget to thank God for all the amazing things in your life because so many distractions divert our attention away from what God is doing in our lives. You may be so focused on your schoolwork or what's happening in your family that you just forget. Or maybe you are comparing what God is doing in your friends' lives to what is happening in yours, and you feel like you don't measure up. In addition, your brain tends to give more attention to negative experiences than positive ones. So, it tends to dwell on things that go wrong rather than focusing on things that go well.
But here is a simple truth: God has rescued you from the power of death and is helping you be more like Jesus.
Did you know that sharing the good news can be as simple as talking about one reason why you are thankful Jesus is changing your life? Scripture encourages us to do this in Galatians 6:14. Sharing the good news doesn't need to be some elaborate production. It can be as simple as saying why you're thankful God is making you more like Jesus.
Take some time to thank God for all the amazing things Jesus is doing in your life, then share it with others.

About this Plan

Have you ever seen an action movie where the stunts became more and more outrageous? Each stunt gets more extreme as the movie continues to push the limits of what to expect. What if that same mindset inspired us to live differently in our lives? What if we looked to God for ways to be extreme and do the unexpected in places like generosity?
