Not Okayಮಾದರಿ

Almost every card game in the world has one thing in common: You're not supposed to look at someone else's cards! It's called cheating, and you don't even have to be told not to do it.
But let's be honest . . . Sometimes, it's hard not to cheat. Someone sets their cards on the table facedown to grab some snacks from the kitchen, and you know it'd be just so easy to take a peak while they're away. It's not that big of a deal, right? It's only cheating if you get caught!
It's the same way in life sometimes. Why does it really matter whether or not we do the right thing when nobody's looking? Well, according to the Bible, somebody is always there to hold us accountable.
Jesus says it does matter whether you do the right or the wrong thing, especially when nobody's looking. He encouraged his disciples to remember that God rewards people who do good deeds in secret.
You see, sometimes people do good things only so that everyone who sees them will know how good they are. They don't actually care about what's right and what's wrong. They just want people to think they're good. Jesus says it's much better for us to do good things when nobody sees us. We may not get praised for it. We might not get any awards or special attention. But God sees the things we do in secret, and God doesn't forget them. It's worth it.

About this Plan

We'll look at four major stressors we all deal with and see how God's words can give us comfort, guidance, and help with each of them. We'll talk about what Jesus offers you when you're not okay, what God wants you to know when people reject you, what to do when it's not easy to do what's right, and when we feel worried, we'll see what God has to say.
