Whispers of His Power - 30 Days of Inspirationಮಾದರಿ

A Heap of Stones
One heap of stones was covered over by the waters of the river; the other heap was set up in the open for all to see.
Have you passed through some new experience of the power and the love of your Lord? It helps if you write the date beside the verse in your Bible, which helped you, or write a word or two of reminder in a private notebook, lest you forget. That note will be like the heap of stones set up in the river. Nobody will see it but your God and you. It is a private heap.
But don’t forget the other heap, which wasn’t private. "Your children shall ask . . . in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?" (Josh. 4:21). The children you look after, the sick you tend, the people you meet, will notice something that will make them ask questions. Take them into your confidence. Tell them what has been done for you, not long ago, but perhaps an hour or two ago, or yesterday, or last week.
Set up your heap of stones to the glory of your Lord so that all will see that He is indeed a God of Deliverances, a splendid, loving, joy-giving Lord whom to serve is the greatest joy in all the world.
