Five Purposes of Prayerಮಾದರಿ

Day 1 — Introduction
Are you a child of God? Then, I suppose you’ve heard again and again that prayer is an essential spiritual exercise. In fact, it is very pivotal to develop a deeper intimacy with God. Why? Because it’s one of the primary ways God speaks to His people.
However, there is a spiritual law that inspires people, God’s children, to put in much labour for anything they are doing. That is, knowing the benefit of what you’re doing in the light of God’s Word and the heavenly inheritance that will be given to you for your work. Once you, a believer, know this, it inspires you to labour effectively in God’s kingdom.
For instance, David didn’t agree to fight Goliath until he asked what would be given to the one who kills that giant (see 1 Samuel 17:25-27). When he discovered that he would be wealthy, exempt his family from taxes and get the king’s daughter in marriage, David was even more inspired to fight. God was his anchor, but that attractive benefit was a plus for him.
Like David’s case, if you know the benefits and rewards you’ll get for praying, you’ll not need someone to tell you to pray before you do. Delve deep in the subsequent days of this plan as I write about five purposes of prayer for the Christian.
