Mary and the women at the tomb were not the only people to see that Jesus had risen from the dead. Jesus appeared to His disciples many times in the 40 days after He rose again and before He ascended to heaven. In fact, it is recorded that he appeared to more than 500 people!

Knowing Jesus is alive makes all the difference to our lives today. We serve a risen King! We know that Jesus has power over death. That means we live with great faith and boldness. We are empowered by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

We know that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are with us always. The Bible also talks about Jesus being in heaven, seated at the right hand of God. Jesus is in an actual place called heaven, and Jesus is also with us here in this world. This is called omnipresence, being everywhere at the same time. Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit are everywhere and not just in heaven. Jesus is our Risen King, and He is with us always!
