Memorizing Scripture is a game changer. Instead of just trying to figure things out on our own, it gives us a baseline to live our lives. It doesn’t just guide us, encourage us, and help us (though it does all that, of course!). It shows us what it means to live authentically as a follower of Jesus, and that’s something worth remembering.

Today, take a few moments to work on memorizing this verse. Ask a friend from your small group to help you out here. Encourage each other to not only commit it to memory but also to talk about what it means for your lives.
