As important as it is to be mindful of what we do, it is just as important to also take into consideration how we do what we do. Being the light of Jesus in this world means being someone willing to sometimes sacrifice how you feel for a greater purpose. As God’s children, it is so important for us to be an influence on those who are uncertain and searching for hope. It is incredibly difficult to influence someone who can’t see a difference between what they experience with you and what they experience in this chaotic world. Following Jesus can be a challenge at times, and we may not always get it right, but with God’s help, we can live the type of life that causes others to want the same light we have.

Today, take time to pray that your life will stand out to others. That they might see and experience God’s light in you in a way that draws them closer to God, too.
