Jesus Christ Is All in Allಮಾದರಿ

Jesus Christ paid the price for all sins
“… Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins” (Hebrews 10:12)
The Lord God had given special laws to the people of Israel, which allowed them to have their sins forgiven and restore their relationship with God. This was possible by animal sacrifices. If people had sinned, they were to sacrifice a goat or a lamb. This animal would die in their place, and God would accept it as a kind of payment for the sins committed. Since people naturally committed many sins they were not even aware of, the priests would also offer daily and yearly sacrifices for the people as a whole. However, these sacrifices did not really solve the problem of sin. As Hebrews 10:11 states it, “every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.”
With Jesus Christ, this is very different. He did not sacrifice animals, but Himself! His one perfect sacrifice was sufficient to take away all the sins of the world, for all time. As Romans 5:15 phrases it, “the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one Man Jesus Christ abounded for many.”
Jesus offered a lasting and ultimate solution to the problem of sin. The only thing we need to do is to accept His offer, and let Him bear the judgment on our sins. Have you already done so? If not, I heartily invite you to do so today!
