Devotion:
Worry has a way of creeping into our minds and stealing our peace. We turn over situations in our heads, trying to find solutions, fearing the worst, or imagining outcomes that may never come to pass. But here’s the truth: worry doesn’t change a thing. It doesn’t fix the problem, ease the pain, or bring clarity. Prayer, on the other hand, does.

When you bring your worries to God, you’re doing more than just venting—you’re inviting Him into your circumstances. You’re acknowledging that He’s in control and trusting Him with the details you can’t handle on your own. In exchange for your anxiety, He offers something only He can give: peace. It’s a peace that guards your heart and mind, anchoring you in His presence even when the storm hasn’t passed.

Today, take whatever is weighing on your heart and lay it at His feet. Be specific in your prayers, trusting that He hears every word. And as you surrender your worries, open your heart to receive His peace—a peace that surpasses understanding and fills the spaces where anxiety once lived. Trust Him, because He’s got it all under control.
