BREATHE--- in HIS Holy Name: 31 Divine Names of GOD (Part 1)ಮಾದರಿ

Day 4: YAHWEH SHAMMAH

Theological Significance: Yahweh Shammah means "The Lord is There." This name reveals God’s omnipresence and His commitment to dwell among His people. The name first appears in Ezekiel’s vision of a restored Jerusalem, where the city is given the name "Yahweh Shammah" to signify God’s abiding Presence with His people. Yahweh Shammah assures us that God is always with us, wherever we are and whatever we are going through. His Presence is constant, and we are never alone.

Use in Scripture:

• "The distance around the city shall be 18,000 (4 x 4,500) cubits; and the name of the city from that day [and ever after] shall be, ‘The Lord is There.’" (Ezekiel 48:35 AMP)

Devotional: Intimacy with God through His ever-present presence as Yahweh Shammah invites us to recognize the continual presence of God in every aspect of our lives. As we breathe in His name, we remind ourselves that God is always with us, never distant or disengaged. In moments of joy or sorrow, success or struggle, Yahweh Shammah is there, offering His presence as a constant source of comfort and strength. Breathing the name Yahweh Shammah draws us closer to Him, helping us to cultivate an awareness of His nearness at all times. Each breath becomes a reminder that we are never alone, that God’s presence surrounds us and fills our lives with His peace.

Breath Prayer Exercise:

1. Inhale deeply through your nose, filling your heart with the awareness of God’s ever-present presence.
2. Exhale slowly through your mouth, softly saying, "Yahweh Shammah, You are with me."
3. Continue this breath prayer for several minutes, focusing on the nearness of God in every moment of your life. Let each breath deepen your sense of God’s presence, bringing you peace and comfort as you draw closer to Him.

May this breath prayer help you to embrace the reality of Yahweh Shammah, the God who is always there with you. As you breathe in His name, you experience the security and peace that come from knowing you are never alone, and that His presence surrounds you at all times.
