In Repair

DAY 21 OF 28

At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...

USE YOUR GIFTS

God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!

Healing from the past can be tricky. Sometimes, mistakes are big and involve other people, and we're not always in control of the outcome. Maybe you've done what you can to repair what's wrong, but you're still waiting for an apology that may never come. When we feel like our ability to heal depends on another person, bitterness and anger can creep in.

This week, think about how you can use one of your gifts to serve others in a way that leads to your healing and benefits others. It could be choreographing and dancing in the school talent show. Or maybe it's cooking a meal that honors a family tradition or your culture. Use words, movement, and whatever comes naturally to you to lead to healing.

About this Plan

In Repair

It’s easy to see brokenness in our lives and the world, leaving us feeling hopeless. But with Jesus, broken things don’t have to stay broken. In this 4-week devotional from Grow Curriculum, we’ll explore how making things right starts with our relationship with God and leads us to bring healing to others and the world around us.
