The woman of faith: Perseveres and Persists

Luke 18:7 in the NIV version says, " And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?" Take a moment to read that Scripture again—it holds powerful reminders for you today: don’t give up. God will bring justice to his chosen ones. Persevere in prayer.

Jesus told the parable of the persistent widow to teach us the power of perseverance. An unjust judge granted her request—not because he was kind, but because she refused to quit. How much more will your loving Father respond when you persist in faith?

Persistence is not weakness—it’s spiritual strength. It’s how breakthroughs are born. You may be praying for healing, a job, restoration in your marriage, peace with a specific person or a financial shift. Keep going. You’re closer than you think.

Jesus asked if He would find persistent faith when He returns. Will He find it in you?

You don’t have the luxury of quitting. Your story is still unfolding. The generations to come are counting on you. Write down what you've been tempted to give up on, and bring it to God again. He hears you. He cares. And He promises to act swiftly on behalf of those who don’t lose heart.

As you wait, God is building your faith, shaping your character, and preparing your testimony.

Let’s Pray:

Thank You, Lord, for Your perfect timing. I choose to trust You and not give up. Holy Spirit, reignite my faith to persist until the miracle You’ve appointed for me arrives. Amen.
