Day 8: A Hole in the Roof!

Inside his house, Jesus heard some noises and looked up. Why was there dirt falling down? Why was there a hole in the roof?! A moment later, he saw the four men lowering their paralyzed friend into the room!

How would you feel if someone made a hole in your roof? Would you be angry? Do you think Jesus was angry?

Jesus smiled at how much faith the men had. They believed in him so deeply that they dug through the roof just to see him! Jesus said to the paralyzed man, "Son, your sins are forgiven." But some people thought, "Jesus forgive sins? Only God can do that!"

Do you believe Jesus can forgive your sins? Why do you think Jesus forgave the paralyzed man's sins? Do you think that's what the paralyzed man wanted Jesus to do for him?
