Come now, and let us reason together, saith JEHOVAH: Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.

If ye be willing and obedient, Ye shall eat the good of the land

Learn to do good; seek after justice; correct the evil-doer; Do justice to the orphan; plead for the widow.

But if ye refuse and rebel, Ye shall be devoured with the sword: For the mouth of JEHOVAH hath spoken it.

Wash ye, make ye clean; Remove ye far away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; Cease to do evil

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; Even when ye multiply prayer, I will not hear: Your hands are full of blood.

Bring no more insincere oblation, Incense! it is an abomination unto me; The new moon, the sabbath, and the proclaiming of an assembly, I cannot endure: it is iniquity, even the solemn assembly.

The ox knoweth his owner, And the ass his master's crib: But Israel doth not know; My people doth not consider.

Your new moons, and your appointed festivals, my soul hateth: They are a burden unto me; I am weary of bearing them.
