Whut dae you say but?” 6The' wur quïzzin hïm fer tae ketch hïm oot, tae get tha gruns fer a chairge agin hïm. But Jesus stoopit doon an he stairtit tae scrieve ïn tha stour wi hïs fïng'r. 7Whan the' kep on at hïm, he stud up strecht an toul thaim, “Whaiver yin o yis haes niver sïnned, weel, let hïm clod tha furst stane at hir!” 8Yinst mair he stoopt doon an scrievit ïn tha stour o tha grun. 9Whaniver the' heerd thïs, [convictit ïn thair hairts], the' stairtit tae slip awa yin bi yin, tha oul yins furst, an tha ithers eftèr thaim. But yous hae nae notion o whar A hae cum frae, or whar A'm gaun. 15You mak yer ain judgemens accoardin tae tha wye man daes; but A mak nae judgemens on naebodie. 16But ïf A dïd judge, ye wud fin ma judgemens wud be richt. It's no me ectin on ma lane, fer tha Faither that sent me stans alang wi me. 17Shair ït says ïn yer ain laa that twa men's wurd ïs tuk as tha truith. 18A be tha yin that wutnesses fer masel; ma ither wutness ïs tha Faither that sent me.” 19An sae the' axt hïm, “Whar's yer Faither at?” “Ye nether know me ner ma Faither,” qo Jesus. “If ye knowed me, ye wud know ma Faither forbye.” 20He telt thaim aa thïs whaniver he wus lairnin fowks ïn tha Temple yaird, nearhan tha kïst fer tha offerins. Yous ir o thïs warl; A dïnnae belang tae thïs warl. 24A toul ye that yis wud dee ïn yer sïns; fer less ye lippen that A be tha yin that A say that A am, yis'll dee ïn yer sïns fer shair.” 25“Wha ir ye then?” the' axt. “Jist whut A hae bin tellin yis al alang,” Jesus reponed. 26“A hae monies a thïng A cud say aboot yis, an tae condemn yis wi. Sae hoo can ye say that we wull be let lowse?”
34Jesus gie thaim thïs answer: “Noo here's tha truith o ït. Iveriebodie that daes wrang ïs a slave tae wrang. Sïn ïs hïs maistèr. 35Noo a slave haes nae richt tae be a pairt o tha femlie fer iver, but a sinn belangs tae tha femlie fer iver an aye. 36Sae ïf tha Sinn maks ye free, then ye'll be free fer shair! 37A ken yis ir tha childèr o Abraham. But yis ir lukkin tae kïll me, fer yis hae nae ruim ïn yer hairts fer whut A hae tae say. 38A'm tellin ye whut A saa whan A wus alang wi ma Faither; but yous follae tha bïddin o your faither.”

He wus a murdèrer richt frae tha stairt, nae freen o tha truith, fer thair's nae truith ïn hïm. Whan he tells lees, he taaks hïs ain leid, fer he's a doonricht liar, ay, tha faither o lees. 45Yit, whaniver ït's me tellin ye tha truith, ye dïnnae believe me! 46Is thair yin amang ye can gie onie pruif A'm guiltie o sïn? An ïf A'm tellin ye tha truith, hoo cum ye dïnnae lippen whut A say? 47Hïm that belangs tae God, taks tent tae whut God says. Tha raison yous dïnnae lïsten ïs that yis dïnnae belang tae God.”
Whut Jesus haed tae say aboot hissel
48Tha Jews axt hïm, “Ir we no richt ïn sayin ye'r a Samaritan wi a divil ïn ye?” 49“Thair's nae divil ïn me,” qo Jesus, “but A hae regaird fer ma Faither an yous hae nae regaird fer me. 50A'm no eftèr glorie fer masel; but thair ïs yin that ïs lukkin ït for me, an he ïs tha yin tae judge. 51Here's tha truith o ït, ïf oniebodie houls tae ma wurd, he wull niver dee.” 52Wi that tha Jews caad oot, “Noo we ken fer shair that thair's a divil ïn ye! Abraham deed an tha proaphits deed as weel. Yit you'r tellin iz that ïf oniebodie houls tae yer wurd, he'll niver dee! 53Wud you be a bïgger man ner oor faither Abraham? He deed an sae dïd tha proaphits. Wha dae you thïnk you ir?” 54Jesus reponed, “If A gie masel tha glorie, thon glorie mains naethin. Ma Faither, that yous mak oot ïs your God, he's tha yin at gies me tha glorie. 55Tha mair yous dïnnae ken hïm, A ken hïm weel. If A saed A dïdnae, that wud mak me a liar laik yous! But A dae ken hïm an A houl tae hïs wurd. 56Yer faither Abraham wus fu o joy at tha thocht o seein ma day cum; he saa ït an wus hairt gled.” 57“Ketch yersel on. Ye'r no fïftie yit,” tha Jews saed tae hïm, “an ye'r tellin iz ye hae saa Abraham?!” 58“A'm tellin ye tha truith,” answert Jesus, “afore iver Abraham wus boarn, A be!” 59Whaniver the' heerd that, the' tuk up stanes fer tae pelt hïm, but Jesus jookt oot o sicht, an left tha Temple gruns.
