About The Lao contemporary version

The Lao contemporary version is a new and contemporary translation for Lao speakers using the English NIV as its primary source for translation, while consulting other English translations and the original languages. The primary audience is younger generations, both inside and outside the church. While providing a clear and simple translation for the church’s current generation, the text is a credible source for scholarly study. All the translators, linguists, and advisors represent a diversity of national and international experts to provide theological expertise and prevent any theological biases. Introductions are provided for each book of the Bible, and all measurements are rendered in contemporary units.
