Kwambi New Testament
Catholic missions in Ovamboland began with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) in 1924.
The New Testament was published in the Kwambi language in 1951, as Etestamtente Epe. The Gospels and the Apocalypse were translated by Father K. Kress. The Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles were translated by Father Franz Seiler. The New Testament was published by Omission Heklesia Ekatolika. It was printed by the Mazenod Institute in Basutoland (Lesotho). it includes book introductions, footnotes and cross-references as well as helpful introductions to the 4 Gospels, the Epistles of Paul (embrife domuapostoli Paulus) and the Catholic Epistles (embrife eenkatolika). The text belongs to the Namibian Catholic Bishops Conference.

It received an Imprimatur from Josef Gotthardt OMI, Vicar apostolic on 1 October 1951.
