Live With Joy: Believing God’s TruthSample
The Definition of Success
Daughter, listen. Trust your heart.
What if you believed you were enough? What if you believed you were loved? Would you dance? Would you be free?
My daughter, I am here.
I am here.
Lift up your head. Lift up your eyes.
Do you care more about what others think than about following Me? Do not try to please the world, my love. It does not bring you joy. Being present, with Me, brings you joy.
Do not judge success. What is success? Who is qualified to measure it?
Is it full of my love? Does it represent Me? Does it bring a lightness of heart, a stirring towards truth? Does it call forth hope? Does it elicit freedom from the ties to this world?
Does it celebrate beauty? Does it make people free? Does it reflect my Son and His sacrifice? Does it foster obedience and a desire—bigger than one’s self, for good?
Does it lay down striving? Does it suggest I am enough and all efforts to achieve joy and success on one’s own is fruitless? Does it bring forth my fruit—patience, kindness, gentleness, love, mercy, thankfulness, tenderness, compassion, hope? Does it prompt the laying down of selfishness? Does it unite my children and bring forth peace and unity? Does it represent Me?
What is success?
Oh, daughter, lay it down.
I am yours.
I am the only success.
I am the only way.
I am the only life.
I am the only life-giving work for you.

About this Plan
Joy feels difficult to attain, and when we do feel joy, it is fleeting. But God is not fleeting. True joy is derived from being with God. When you choose to fully surrender your heart to God and believe in His truth, you open a space where joy is always in you. Start this seven-day plan to practice accessing this place of joy with God.
