Restored!

DAY 21 OF 21

Keep Your Eyes On The Prize

Continuing in restoration requires focus - not on ourselves or on our shortcomings, but on Jesus. Hebrews 12:2 commands us to “fix” our eyes on Jesus. He is the prize – the one whom our soul longs for and the ultimate treasure of the human heart.

Because he is the one who brings true joy to our hearts, we are willing to rid our lives of anything that would cloud our relationship with him. Just as a runner refuses to be weighted down with anything that would slow them down, true followers of Christ will gladly cast aside those things that would keep them from running their race well.

Ask God to reveal to you anything that He would have you remove from your life so that you can run your race more perfectly and focus on Jesus more clearly.

PRAYER

Jesus, thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for enduring the pain of the cross for my sake. I don’t want anything, ever to get between you and me. You are the prize and I want to keep my heart focused on knowing you more and running my race well. Show me, please, if there is anything that is keeping me from knowing you more or running my race well. Amen.

Day 20

About this Plan

Restored!

All you were meant to be - your hopes, your dreams, your deepest desires - are found in the person of Jesus Christ. In this study, you will learn what God's word reveals about God's plans and purposes for restoring you to the person that He intended you to be. As you increase your understanding,  you will grow in your ability to cooperate with what He desires to do in your life.
